How to Create a Storybook Nursery

Once upon a time there lived a little prince and princess…or so we would like to believe. Having a baby is a dream come true – which is why the storybook theme for a nursery is perfect for your little one, prince or princess.

Chandelier: The easiest way to add a touch of elegance and royalty to your nursery is by adding a chandelier. Chandeliers bring the whole room together. However, you do not have to spend a fortune to get the look. You can choose from an upscale baby boutique design that will costs about $200-400 (but remember this chandelier can easily be the center of your little one’s room for many years to come), or you can upcycle a plain one or vintage one with a little spray paint and strings of crystal/glass shapes or even pearls. You can always add a chandelier wall art to the wall for a similar look. Try the Renditions By Reesa Zebra Chandelier Mural.

Wall Art: Here is where decorating your baby’s room gets really fun. There are so many wall art and décor pieces to choose from that it will make your room fit the theme. We really love the look of script writing on the wall – maybe have your favorite storybook line written on the wall. For princess rooms, try the Oopsy Daisy Canvas Wall Art Princess Fairest of them All Pink – it is a gorgeous piece.

Furniture: You can make any piece of furniture fit into your new enchanted nursery. However, some fun pieces to add are vanities, or this sweet Princess Bookcase and Princess Toddler Table. Don’t forget that your little one needs a throne of their own, so the Pink Chenille Upholstered Rocker & Ottoman which also comes in a deep blue, Blueberry Chenille Upholstered Rocker & Ottoman, are perfect seats. They add such a cute element to the nursery.

Lollipop Moon has several enchanting elements to make your nursery dreams come true. Check out their adorable nursery and bedroom décor, as well as their designer baby clothes and baby gifts.
